My actual birthday celebration was really fun! We went to Frites (a "cheerful beercentric" restaurant/pub - btw I am stealing that phrase in case I ever have to write a personal ad about myself) to have mussels and french fries and beer. Apps I was really excited to eat:

At some point in the night, playing with this dog statue became funny. Obviously, turning 28 marked my entry into the very mature and sophisticated adult professional world. The restaurant owner took it away from us shortly after this photo...FOR SOME REASON??

Awesomeness. Happy happy Duffy!! I wish you would have stolen the boston terrier statute... he was cute and liked beer - a great pet!
