Lost in translation

It's always good to travel so you can get outside your comfort zone and learn new things.  For example, I always thought this was the universal symbol for non-smoking room. Right?

Wrong?  In Kazakhstan, rooms with this symbol on the door contain not one, but two ashtrays.  And matches!

Kazakh hotel rooms also have a host of other amenities.  Have you ever been brushing your teeth and thought: "Gee, I'd really like a beer, or a coke in a glass bottle, but I don't have a bottle opener!?" I know I have, but get ready to be razzle dazzled because the Kazakhs have fixed that problem as well!

Either that, or Kazakh shampoo comes in glass bottles.
