Dim Sum with the Doormen

Dim sum with the doormen is an idea I have for a talk show where flamboyant Hong Kong doormen discuss all the scandalous secrets they learn about the local gliteratti while working the night shift at fancy buildings around town. The format would be similar to Coffee Talk, but with dim sum.

Incidentally, I also went to dim sum with my doormen this weekend. I didn't really hear about any scandals (other than about other doormen/the building manager), but I'm just warming them up for next time.

The impetus for the outing was that Marco (third from left above) was leaving - which is going to put a serious dent (to the extent there is anything to actually dent) in my Cantonese learning. Marco is responsible for all of the rude/slang Cantonese (i.e., all the Cantonese) I know.  He even made me worksheets...which remain uncompleted because...

...I was busy thinking up stupid pretend TV show ideas instead of studying Cantonese?
