Fishing in Thailand

When fishing in an exotic location one would of course generally expect to use exotic bait. I was not disappointed on my fishing trip outside of Chiang Mai where we used the rare and mysterious

Upon casting this giant ball of extremely processed bread product, it sounds like a bowling ball landing in the water. There's a hook with a piece of bread on it, and the bread from the big ball drifts down. When the fish eat the little bread pieces floating down from the big ball of bread, you hope they bite the one with the hook. Then you reel them in/hope that you set the drag right so they don't pull you into the lake.
