Today is a sad day for the citizenry of Hong Kong, as our beloved Panda Channel is no more. For those of you who were sadly unfamiliar with the Panda Channel, it was a 24-hour all panda all the time smorgasboard of panda-ness. During the day it featured a live feed of An An and Jia Jia (the pandas at Ocean Park in Hong Kong) which I liked to refer to as Panda-Vision.
During the night time or when An An and Jia Jia were asleep the Panda Channel played "best of" footage and other highlights of hilarious panda antics.
The beautiful panda images were accompanied by soothing new age music which prominently featured pan flutes.
We will miss you pandas!
