One interesting aspect of Hong Kong life is trying to walk places on Sunday. Sunday is the only day that the multitude of foreign live-in maids have the day off. Since their bedrooms at the houses where they work are smaller than a twin bed and since they have nowhere else to congregate, they line the sidewalks, parks, walkways, subway tunnels all day long to talk, eat, do each other's nails and otherwise generally b.s. (I'm guessing...my tagalog is not very good lately).
